| MOSCOW. Russian Railways plans investment at RUR360bn ($11bn, or €8.3bn) for 2014 and RUR346.1bn ($10.5bn, or €7.9bn) for 2015, the rail monopoly said on its website.
This year's investment plan is RUR411.4bn ($12.5bn).
Russian Railways focuses on improving transportation safety and modernising railway infrastructure and rolling stock. |
| PETROZAVODSK. Fitch Ratings has affirmed the northwest Russian republic of Karelia’s long-term foreign and local currency ratings at BB-, national long-term rating at A+(rus) and short-term foreign currency rating at B.
The outlooks on the long-term ratings are stable.
The affirmation reflects Karelia's satisfactory budgetary performance, solid liquidity and low contingent risk.
The rating action also affects Karelia's outstanding senior unsecured domestic bonds of RUR5.25bn ($159.4mn, or €120.25mn). |
