MOSCOW. United Metallurgical Company (OMK) said it has supplied large diameter pipes to the Khancheiskoye natural gas project in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area in West Siberia. The deposit is being developed by Russia’s largest independent gas producer, Novatek. OMK delivered to the customer 29,000 metric tons of pipes which is enough to lay 190 km (118 miles) of pipeline. The 530-mm diameter pipes with 12 mm and 14 mm walls were made of K60 steel with corrosion-resistant coating at the OMK plant in Vyksa, Nizhni Novgorod Region.

MOSCOW. French carmaker Renault, one of the shareholders of Russia’s AvtoVAZ, will co-finance the planned upgrade of the third production line at the AvtoVAZ plant in Togliatti, Renault’s Managing Director for Russia Bruno Ancelin told journalists during the Frankfurt Motor Show.
