MOSCOW. Chief of the Presidential Experts Directorate and the Russian G20 Sherpa Ksenia Yudayeva has been appointed the Central Bank’s first deputy chair as of September 11, 2013, reported the bank’s external and public relations department. She will be responsible for the monetary and credit policy.

ST PETERSBURG. LUKoil, Russia’s biggest private oil company, has invested about RUR137bn ($4.2bn, or €3.15bn) in the development of offshore fields since 1995, company vice president for exploration Ilya Mandrik said on Wednesday at the 11th international conference on Arctic shelf development. “Investment in these projects has reached RUR137bn, and complete development will cost RUR700bn (over $21bn),” he said. Mandrik said also that LUKoil confirmed the deadline for putting into operation of the Filanovskoye field in the northern part of the Caspian Sea as early 2016.
