| KHANTY-MANSIYSK. The holders of oil and gas licences in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area (Yugra) plan to invest RUR29bn ($908.2mn, or €674mn) in exploration next year, head of the west Siberian region Natalya Komarova said during a videoconference between Moscow, Khanty-Mansiysk and Salekhard.
Ms Komarova said that oil reserves in the region increased to 320mn metric tons (2.35bn bbl) last year thanks to additional investment in exploration. |
| CHITA. VTB Bank has won several auctions for the right to lend RUR3.2bn ($100.2mn, or €74.4mn) to the Trans-Baikal Territory for financing the region’s budget deficit.
The auctions were proposed by the region’s Finance Ministry.
In accordance with the agreements signed, the VTB Group’s bank in Chita has already issued RUR1.8bn ($56.4mn, or €41.8mn) to the regional authorities for 2.5 years. |
