| MOSCOW. Fitch Ratings has upgraded the Russian Republic of Tatarstan's long-term foreign and local currency ratings to BBB from BBB- and the national long-term rating to AAA(rus) from AA+(rus). It also affirmed the short-term foreign currency rating at F3.
The outlooks on the long-term ratings are Stable. |
| MOSCOW. State-owned Russian Agricultural Bank (RusAg) has allocated over RUR7.4bn (around $225mn, or €169.5mn) for a project to build the Akashevskaya pedigree poultry farm in the republic of Mari El in the Volga region.
The project is to be completed in 2014 and will have a hatchery, which will allow it to reach the design capacity of 200,000 chickens already a year later.
It is expected to become the largest poultry farm in the Volga Federal District. |
