MOSCOW. State-owned exploration holding company Rusgeology is considering joint ventures with three major hydrocarbon producers, LUKoil, Rosneft and Gazprom, Rusgeology CEO Roman Panov said.
“We are in talks with several mineral resource developers,” he said. “We have a substantive project with LUKoil in Russia’s onshore Caspian area. We are discussing various cooperation options with Gazprom, such as joint projects or working in contractor organisations.”
Panov also said the company was discussing joint exploration of the Bazhenov formation in West Siberia with Rosneft. |
