MOSCOW. Russian state development bank VEB has opened two credit lines for a total worth of RUR27bn ($809.1mn, or €614.3mn) to territorial generation company TGC-9, the utility said in a statement.
The funds will be used to build the Novobereznikovskaya heat and power plant in the Perm Territory and to overhaul the Nizhneturinskaya district thermal power plant in the Sverdlovsk Region.
The state lender has agreed to lend the utility RUR15.5bn until the end of 2016 and RUR11.5bn until the end of 2015. Both deals, approved by TGK-9's board of directors in April, were secured on September 2.
The company estimates the Perm project at RUR15.6bn, with borrowed funds accounting for RUR11.5bn and the company’s own money for RUR4.1bn.
The Sverdlovsk Region project is estimated at RUR21.7bn with RUR6.2bn to be provided by TGC-9. |
