ZHUKOVSKY, Moscow Region. In the near future, the Ulyanovsk-based Aviastar-SP plant should reach production level of 15-20 Ilyushin Il-76MD-90A (also known as the Il-476) heavy-lift transport planes per year, head of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) Mikhail Pogosyan told reporters on Wednesday. This is a fundamentally new aircraft, Pogosyan said, noting that Il-76MD-90A has very good prospects up to 2030. A prototype Ilyushin Il-76MD-90A completed its first prolonged test flight in late January 2013.

MOSCOW. VTB does not rule out the possibility of buying banking assets, its president Andrei Kostin said at a news conference. The bank has not developed “only through organic growth,” he emphasised, adding that acquisitions of assets have helped it to grow faster and to expand its presence. At the same time, he said that any deals before the yearend were “unlikely.”
