MOSCOW. Acron's first half net profit shrank 20% to RUR5.236bn ($158.7mn, or €118.9mn) according to International Financial Reporting Standards, the mineral fertiliser producer said in a statement. The group’s IFRS financial results show revenues falling 3% to RUR34.251bn and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) down 11% at RUR8.818bn as EBITDA margin fell to 26% from 28%. The company’s net debt stood at RUR34.496bn as of July 1, up from RUR32.671bn as of December 31, 2012.

MOSCOW. Moody's Investors Service said it has downgraded Russia’s leading coking coal producer Raspadskaya’s corporate family rating (CFR) and probability of default rating (PDR) to B2 and B2-PD from B1 and B1-PD, respectively. Concurrently, Moody's has downgraded the ratings on the senior unsecured debt issued by Raspadskaya Securities Ltd., a limited liability company incorporated in Ireland, and its PDR to B2 and B2-PD from B1 and B1-PD, respectively. In addition, the outlook has been changed to Negative from Stable. The downgrade of Raspadskaya's rating was prompted by continued deterioration in the metallurgical coal sector, Fitch experts said. At the same time, Moody’s Interfax downgraded Raspadskaya’s national scale rating to Baa1.ru from A1.ru.
